Who We Are
The ACCWS is dedicated to the advocacy, ongoing wound care education, and support of credentialed wound care providers of all disciplines. Our members strive to improve the public’s health by practicing and encouraging evidence-based wound care management to promote healing.
The American College of Clinical Wound Specialists™ has teamed up with the Journal of Wound Care (JWC) and Wound Central, a supplemental publication of the Journal of Wound Care to create more opportunities for our members.
The Journal of Wound Care welcomes contributions on all aspects of wound care, from randomised controlled trials (RCTs) and systematic reviews, to case series and studies. Our editors and the supportive review process often provide inexperienced authors with constructive advice on how to improve their articles.
All articles will be sent for peer review. The Journal of Wound Care (JWC) will not accept material submitted to, or published by, other journals or books.
JWC welcomes unsolicited articles on all wound care issues. The journal publishes original research, literature reviews and clinical case studies. All articles submitted to JWC are will hold exclusive rights to articles.

The journal was first launched in 1992 and aimed at catering to the needs of the multidisciplinary team.
