Penny Campbell, Incumbent, PT
I have had the privilege of being on the Board of Directors for the ACCWS and serving as Board Secretary for the past 3 years now. This has been one of the most rewarding things I have ever done professionally and personally. I had never sat on a board before and did not have a clue what was expected of me. Everyone in the organization was so kind and supportive to me and I soon came to realize this is simply a group of like-minded people that want to provide quality education and support to further the ever-changing field of wound care. We all have the same wants, needs and hopes for our patients. We have a vision for this organization and have begun rising to make a difference in the field of wound care, furthering the educational needs of our fellow providers and most importantly changing the lives of our patients and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to continue this journey. Thank you in advance for your consideration.
Barry Creighton, DPM
I have served before as a board member of the American College of Clinical Wound Specialists in the past and greatly enjoyed my time in that capacity. I also review articles for the Journal and have done so for many years.
I believe I can best serve the organization by providing some business leadership experience, help educating the board about how medical device companies operate and serving as a liaison between the ACCWS and such companies. I would also be happy to be available to membership at large with any questions they have in this regard.
Disclosure I worked before for FarrowMed, which was bought out by BSN medical, which is presently owned by Essity. I still receive royalties for sales of Farrow products but have no other activity or position with the company now.

I would like your support to join ACCWS Board of Directors. I enjoy being part of multidisciplinary teams and truly believe that together we can do more for our patients. With ACCWS Board of Directors, I will positively contribute to advancement of the standards of wound care, support wound specialists and increase awareness of the wound care as much needed specialty for our aging population.
